After graduating as a civil engineer from the renowned College of Engineering Pune
(COEP) in 1960, he worked in the town planning department until joining the family
business in 1963. Under his leadership the group took a big leap forward. Known for
his strong technical expertise, leadership skills, humble nature and discipline, Mr.
Samal continues to guide the next generations with the core values of quality, trust
and integrity.

He graduated as a civil engineer from the renowned College of Engineering Pune
(COEP), which was followed by Master in Business Administration. He joined the
family business in 1987 and has been a cornerstone of the company’s growth ever
since. With over 38 years of experience, his expertise shines through in the
successful execution of large scale residential, commercial, industrial and
institutional projects across Maharashtra. He continues to uphold the group’s
commitment to delivering quality projects with integrity and discipline, while
guiding Samal Buildcon into its next chapter.

As a part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we actively run the ‘Shankarrao Y. Samal Foundation’ - a charitable trust established in 1981. Over the decades, the foundation has consistently provided educational sponsorships to deserving students and extended vital medical assistance to the underprivileged.
In a notable contribution to community welfare, the Group constructed and donated ‘Samal Dharmashala’ - a pilgrim lodging facility, to the Tuljabhavani Temple Trust in Tuljapur, Osmanabad, serving countless devotees each year.
Mr. Shrikant S. Samal, is also the founder member and serves as a trustee of the ‘Swaroop Wardhini Foundation’ under which numerous social welfare initiatives are undertaken annually, further reinforcing the Group’s dedication to creating meaningful impact in society.
